Inspirational Hands

This project was an extra credit piece. The idea behind this was to have them intentionally incorporate elements of design into a simple drawing. They have a sheet of lines they created from a previous project they used to create their lines and patterns.

They had to trace their hand and create two different drawings. One design inside of the hand and one on the outside.

A few guidelines:

• *If the inside of the hand is in color the background needed to be in black and white

• *If the inside of the hand is black and white the background needed to be in color

• Fill the page with a variety of lines and patterns. Be creative! 


• Start with pencil (very light) then move to markers or colored pencil


• Fill the page (always use your space)

• 
**No pencil should be seen on your final piece**

I LOVE how these turned out, and I LOVE how proud my students are of their art.
