Group one will define symbiosis, commensalism, mutualism, and parasitism. They will also identify animals that live in each type of symbiotic relationship and describe how symbiotic interactions can be cooperative or competitive.
Elements of any ecological system live in an intricate web of interdependence. When two species of organisms live in close association with each other, their relationships is called "symbiotic." In a sybiotic relationship, at lease one of the organisms directly benefits from its close association with the other organism.
