Study of Paul Klee Letter-Painting

This projects is based on Paul Klee's painting Once Emerged from the Grey of Night. The main lesson was on Analogous colors and how they work together and why they are important to use when designing.

We started out with a grid on our paper. We then chose a quote, lyrics or some personal things to add to their work.

They used any color crayon then used 3-4 colors to create their analogous color scheme. I am pleased with the results and the students were very engaged in finding the right words and colors to choose for their paintings.
