Emphaizing My Better Half
Ahhhh! This week was fun! We discussed Emphasis as a Principle of Design. What made it fun was that the students had to draw themselves.
I gave them a black and white copy of themselves, well half of a copy of themselves (insert evil laugh). They had to draw their "better half." They had to use Emphasis for this project and really bring out one of their features or completely recreate themselves on the other half. See below for the results.
I got so much positive feedback from my students on this project, it will definitely be a repeat!
