The Darth of Variety
This project was a hit last year with my 8th and 9th graders. I introduced Romero Britto to the 11th grade class and they liked it as well. They really liked his style and recognized a few art movements in his art; Pop Art, Cubism, and Graffiti.
They also recognized a piece he did for the World Cup in Brazil in 2014. When I showed their subject for the project, I was told that this project is "wild."
They all did an amazing job and had a blast doing the project.
